Zusammenfassung:	A supply system with fuel cells (1) and a buffer battery (8) for a self-supplied vehicle with electric drive, in which the electrical power developed by the fuel cells is transferred to the battery and to the load (Z1) by means of a resonant converter (3, L, C) with a series load (Z) constituted by a voltage step-up transformer (5) with its secondary (51) connected to a rectifier bridge (6) the output of which is connected to the battery terminals, and the switching frequency of the converter, which operates with an output power independent of its load and proportional to the switching frequency, is controlled so as to ensure a power delivered by the cells between a minimum and a maximum and correlated jointly with the battery voltage and the load current.
