Zusammenfassung:	The fuel injector has a director plate for discharging fuel into the intake system of an internal combustion engine. The director plate has several injection orifices at certain locations on the director plate which extend through the director plate. Each injection orifice is inclined at a predetermined angle to the central axis so that the injector orifices will direct streams of fuel towards a target in the engine intake system and the streams of fuel will impinge upon the target in a crescent pattern.
