Zusammenfassung:	Lacquer for an object comprises several stacked layers, in which one layer has a characteristic which is recognised in a spectral region. The novelty is that the characteristic is formed by the influence of a determined pigmenting of a lacquer layer (1) of a lacquer used in the whole lacquer (5) on the electromagnetic spectrum, so that the different pigments (2) have an extreme (3) of optical activity with each characteristic wavelength. The electromagnetic spectrum (4) of the lacquer (5) is the characteristic. A process for lacquering an object is also claimed.
