Zusammenfassung: | It is an objective of the present invention to provide metallic materials which possess suitable characteristics for serving as an intermediate layer between the thermal barrier coating and the matrix substrate, or as a separator for the solid oxide fuel cell. Moreover, the metallic materials according to the present invention should have a close value of the coefficient of thermal expansion to that of the stabilized zirconia and exhibit an excellent high temperature oxidation resistance. The metallic materials contain Cr of 15 SIMILAR 40 wt%, W of 5 SIMILAR 15 wt%, M of 0.01 SIMILAR 1 wt% (where M is one or more than two elements chosen from a group consisting of Y, Hf, Ce, La, Nd, and Dy), B of 0.001 SIMILAR 0.01 wt% and Fe as a balance. The average value of the coefficient of thermal expansion of the metallic material according to the present invention is in a range from more than 12.0 x 10/K to less than 13.0 x 10/K in a temperature range from the room temperature to 1,000 DEG C, and the value is close to that of the stabilized zirconia. It was also observed, by the high temperature oxidation tests, that the metallic materials of the present invention show an excellent high temperature oxidation resistance. |
