Zusammenfassung:	A method of increasing the rate of vulcanisation of a sulphur vulcanisable rubber composition comprises: (i) heating it to 100-200[deg]C, where the rubber compsn. comprises: (a) a sulphur vulcanisable rubber; (b) 0.5-5 phr of a sulphenamide of formula (I); and (c) 0.05-10 phr of a hydrated thiosulphate. R1 = H, 1-10C acyclic aliphatic gp. or 5-10C cyclic aliphatic gp.; and R2 = H, 5-10C cyclic aliphatic gp. or a mercaptobenzothiazolyl gp. of formula (II). Also claimed are: (1) a sulphur vulcanisable rubber compsn.; and (2) a sulphur vulcanised rubber compsn. prepd. by heating the sulphur vulcanisable rubber compsn. to a temp. of 100 - 200 [deg] C.
