| Zusammenfassung: | A method and circuit for reducing distortion of low level signals by efficiently separating noise and signal components using correlativity between the respective R, G and B channels and amplitude of the detail components. The detail enhancement method includes detail components extracting step, signal/noise determining step, noise cancelling or detail enhancement step and detail-enhanced image signal outputting step. Therefore, even if a highpass frequency component of the input signal is smaller than a critical value, the input signal is accurately separated as a signal or a noise. Then, only when the input signal is classified as the noise, the signal is cancelled. |
