Zusammenfassung: | A bypass air valve (20) is provided comprising a liner (36), a strap (34), and apparatus (40) for selectively actuating the valve. The liner (36) includes an inner surface (44), an outer surface (46), a plurality of first regions (86), and a plurality of second regions (88). Each first region (86) includes a plurality of first apertures (94). The strap (34) includes a plurality of openings (90) and a plurality of third regions (92). The third regions (92) include a plurality of second apertures (100). The valve (20) may be selectively actuated into an open position where the first regions (86) are in communication with the openings (90), and the third regions (92) are in communication with the second regions (88). The valve (20) may be selectively actuated into a closed position where the first regions (86) are in communication with the third regions (92), and the second regions (88) are in communication with the openings (90). The flow path through the first (94) and second (100) apertures in the closed position impedes flow substantially more than the flow path through the first (94) apertures and the openings (90) in the open position, thereby effectively closing bypass air flow through the valve (20) in the closed position. |
