Zusammenfassung:	A food processor includes a tray (10) which accommodates processed food, an upper face of the tray (10) being open. A cutter plate (14) is provided at an upper section of the tray (10) and is capable of reciprocal movement along the upper face thereof so as to process food materials. A guide member provided on an inner face of the tray (10) supports the cutter plate (14) and guides the movement of the cutter plate (14). A cover (41) is provided above the cutter plate (14) and is attached to the tray (10), the cover having a cylindrical member (40) into which the food materials are put. A drive section (12) has a motor (24) for moving the cutter plate (14) and a connecting member for connecting the motor (24) and the cutter plate (14), and it is capable of attaching to the upper section of the tray (10), wherein the connecting member connects the motor (24) and the cutter plate (14) when the drive section (12) is attached to the tray (10).
