Zusammenfassung:The printer includes a photoreceptor having a toner-receiving surface. A device is provided for moving the photoreceptor in a first direction of movement. A plural exposure device arrays along the toner-receiving surface of the photoreceptor for charging the photoreceptor in accordance with different colour image pixel values. A developer module is associated with each exposure device. E.g. each the developer module includes a liquid toner reservoir, a developer roll for carrying liquid toner to a transfer point, and a squeegee roll for removing excess dispersant from the liquid toner after the liquid toner has been applied to the photoreceptor. An erase device is positioned upstream from each the exposure device in regards to the first direction of movement of the photoreceptor. A charge device is positioned between each erase device and a downstream exposure device. A drying roll is positioned after a last developer module for fixing a toner image on the photoreceptor. A device is provided for transferring the toner image to a sheet.
