Zusammenfassung:	A tub-shaped liquid fuel filter housing and cap have a fuel inlet and outlet and enclose a filter insert. Fuel flows radially through the filter insert, one edge of which rests against the cap and separates the clean fuel side from the unfiltered fuel side, while the opposite filter edge is supported by a spring resting on the tub-bottom. The spring is a wave-shaped spring (29,40) in which the ring-shaped strip of material incorporates at least three circumferential waves (31). The wave peaks (32) and troughs (33) form the contact zones (34,35) with the filter insert (21) and tub base (14). All the contact zones (34,35) form a convex shape with respect to the adjacent base (14) and filter insert (21) contact zones.
