Zusammenfassung:	Apparatus for setting a sidetrack plug in a well bore has an inflation packer assembly (15) attached by tail pipe (10) to the lower end of the tubing string, the packer assembly including inflation passage means (236), and circulation means (266) for communicating cement from the assembly into the well bore above the set packer, to form a sidetrack plug. The tail pipe can then be released from the string so that the tail pipe and the inflation packer remain in the hole and form a part of the sidetrack plug. A whipstock may be connected to the inflation packer assembly.
