Zusammenfassung:	Binding ammonia and/or hydrogen sulphide in liquids, esp. farmyard slurry, comprises mixing with a solid or liq. additive (A) contg. at least two carboxylic acids. Also claimed are: (A); and the NH3 and/or H2S-contg. liq. which also contains carboxylic acids from the addn. of (A). Pref. the compsn. contains at least one Fe cpd. (esp. FeSO4) and at least one 1-6C (esp. 4-6C) aliphatic mono- or di- carboxylic acid. The wt. ratio of carboxylic acids to Fe cpd. is 15:1 to 1:15. The amt. added is sufficient to lower the pH of the liq. by at least 0.2.
