Zusammenfassung:	The discharge lamp operating system uses an operating circuit with a noise suppression filter (FE), a rectifier (GL), high and low setting current regulators (HS,TS) coupled via a capacitor (C1) and a DC/AC converter (WR) supplying the lamp (LP). The low setting current regulator is operated in intermittent mode at the end of the lamp run-up phase, during which it is operated in continuous mode, for reducing the run-up time.
