Zusammenfassung:	End section for an electrodialysis machine comprises a vertical plate (8) and frame (9) forming a cavity between them containing an electrode and connected to an inlet pipe (23,26) and an outlet pipe (22,24) for the electrolyte. The electrode is a vertical perforated metal sheet (12) positioned to form a chamber (21) between the plate, the sheet and the frame. This chamber is divided into vertical channels (27,28) by vertical partitions (29) and the inlet and outlet pipes open into this chamber. Electrodialysis machine containing a succession of vertical frames and membranes selectively permeable to ions, between two end sections is also claimed.
