Process for dyeing polyester or polyester containing textile materials

Dyeing of (textiles contg.) polyesters at pH 8-11 is carried out with monoazo dye(s) of formula: D-N=N-K (I); K = a gp. of formula (II); and D = a substd. phenyl gp. of formula (II); 5,6- or 6,7-dichloro, 6-chloro-, 5- or 6-nitro- or 6-methylsulphonyl- benzothiazol-2-yl; 5-nitrobenzoisothiazol-2-yl; X = H, F, Cl, Br, Me, CF3, 1-4C alkylsulphonyl, CN or NO2; X = NO2, CN, CF3, F, Cl, Br, 1-6C alkyl, cyclopentyl, cyclohexyl, 1-4C alkoxy, opt. substd. by 1-4C alkoxy or OH, aminocarbonyl, 1-4C alkylsulphonyl, opt. substd. by OH, Cl, Br, CN or 1-4C alkoxy, di-(1-4C)-alkylaminosulphonyl, 1-4C alkylcarbonyl or mono- or di-(1-4C)-alkylaminocarbonyl, in which the alkyl gp(s). are opt. substd. by OH, Cl, Br, CN, Ph, PhO or 1-4C alkoxy; or phenylsulphonyl, phenylcarbonyl or phenylaminocarbonyl, opt. mono- or di-substd. by Me, Et, MeO, EtO, F, Cl or Br; X = F, Cl, Br, 1-4C alkoxy or H; X = CN, F, Cl, Br or H; Y = H, F, Cl, Br, Me, Et, 1-4C alkoxy, NHCOR , NHCOOR or NHSO2R ; or Y +Y + the benzene ring = a naphthyl gp.; Y = H, F, Cl, Me or 1-4C alkoxy, opt. substd. by 1-4C alkoxy or OH; R = 1-6C alkyl; R = 1-6C alkyl or H; R = 1-8C alkyl, opt. substd. by Cl, Br, CN, OH, 1-8C alkoxy or PhO, Ph, 3-5C alkenyl, cyclopentyl, cyclohexyl, benzyl or 1-8C alkyl with 2 or 3 ether O atoms in the chain; R = 1-4C alkyl, opt. substd. by Cl, Br, 1-4C alkoxy, CN, OH or Ph, or Ph; R = 4-6C alkyl.
