An apparatus to supply separated articles

This is to offer an apparatus by which cylindrical articles (1) continuously disposed on a conveyer (2) without gaps are smoothly supplied into circular indentations (7) of automatic machine (4,1;4,2), and disposed at an equal distance larger than the diameter of said article (1), or to offer an apparatus by which the distance between the continuously disposed articles (1) can be smoothly increased. A star index wheel (3) rotated at a peripheral speed lower than the moving speed of carrying conveyer (2) is disposed on the side of conveyer (2) carrying articles (4), and the gap distances between the continuously disposed articles (1) without gaps are increased by utilizing the speed difference between the conveyer (2) and said index wheel (3). Moreover, said star index wheel (3) is rotated at the same rotational speed as the index wheel of automatic machine (4-1;4-2) in order to supply the articles (1) smoothly onto the circular indentations (7) disposed with a uniform gaps larger than the diameter of said article (1) on the outer rim of index wheel of automatic machine (4-1;4-2).
