Zusammenfassung:A solid electrolyte capacitor 1 comprises a capacitor element 7 disposed in a case 5, and a rubber seal member 4 tightly fitted in an upper opening of the case, with lead terminals 6, 6 projecting from the element 7 and extending through the seal member 4. To fabricate the capacitor 1, a TCNQ complex salt 2 is placed into a heating box 8 and melted by heating. The capacitor element 7 is placed into the box 8, impregnated with the complex salt 2, then immediately withdrawn from the box 8 and cooled in air to solidify the salt 2 by cooling. Subsequently, the lead terminals 6, 6 of the element 7 are inserted through the seal member 4. The element 7 is placed into the case 5 which has approximately the same diameter as the heating box 8, with the seal member 4 attached to the element 7, and the case 5 is constricted to seal off its opening, whereby the solid electrolyte capacitor 1 is obtained.
