Zusammenfassung:A wear-resistant, sintered, ferrous alloy, for use as valve seat, comprises an iron-based matrix with a sorbite or pearlite structure, and two types of hard particles (A and B). The matrix comprises (wt.%): 0.5-1.5 C, 0.5-3 Ni, 0.5-2 Mo, 0.1-8 Co, 0.05-1 Mn and the balance Fe, and has a Vickers hardness of 300-450. Hard particles (A) comprise (wt.%): 1.5-2.5C, 38-45 Cr, 18-30 W, 5-15 Co, 0.5-3 Mo, 0.03-0.5 Ti and the balance Fe, and have an average particle dia. of 30-80 microns. Hard particles (B) comprise (wt.%): 60-70 Mo and 0.5-2 Si, balance Fe, and have an average particle dia. of 30-80 microns. Particles A and B are uniformly dispersed in the matrix, and constitute 10-25 wt.% of the alloy.
