Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	An agricultural tractor (10) has gear selection levers (31, 32) including operating knobs (20, 21) for manual operation by a tractor driver seated on a seat (11). The levers (31, 32) are moveable forwards and backwards of the tractor (10) to gear selection positions predefined by the gear selection mechanism of the tractor (10). In a narrow tractor, such as an orchard tractor, the driver space is limited and there is contention between the driver space and the path to be followed by the gear selection levers of the tractor. In order to avoid this contention, each gear selection lever (31, 32) is coupled, at the end (26) remote from the hand operated end (20, 21), to a control linkage (27, 33) in the form of an articulated link (27). This link (27) imposes on the selection levers (31, 32) a transverse displacement such that the backwards and forwards movement of the gear selection levers (31, 32) is along outwardly curved paths which skirt the driver space.
