New supported compounds containing rhenium and aluminium, their preparation and use for the metathesis of olefins

New supported catalysts are claimed, contg. at least one Re and Al cpd. of general formula O3Re-O-ÄAl(OR)(L)x-O-Ün-ReO3 (A). R = 1-40 C hydrocarbyl; L = the synthesis solvent; x = 0 or 1; n = 1-10. Also claimed are their prepn. and use in the metathesis of olefins.
