Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	A process for the treatment of residue from waste incinerator plants comprises (A) the removal of the waste produced following incineration, without pre-rinsing it with water, and dividing it into at least two fractions, one of which contains the fine particles, and (B) a single- or multi-step flue gas scrubbing method to remove sulphur dioxide. Only the fine fraction from step (A) is washed, with the water from the washing step contg. alkali(ne earth) metal chlorides and hydroxides being added to the exhaust gas in step (B) to aid the removal of sulphur dioxide.
