Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides an image receiving material comprising on a support a receiving layer containing physical development nuclei consisting of a substantially homogeneous mixture of at least two metals, one of them having an E DEG value of at least 0.75 V, the other one(s) having an E DEG value of at least - 1 V. Said image receiving material may be provided wih a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer or may form a separate receiving element. Images of high density, good contrast and sharpness can be obtained. The image receiving materials of the present invention can also be used for making lithographic printing plates having good printing properties.
