Zusammenfassung:	A toner compsn. comprises pigment and a polyimide of formula (I) or (II): R = alkylene, oxyalkylene or polyoxyalkylene; and n = number of monomer segments. Also claimed are: (i) a process for the prepn. of polyimides of formula (I) and (II) comprising heating and admixing a dianhydride monomer and a diamine monomer to a temp. of 150-190 [deg] C, followed by continued heating at 190-250 [deg] C, thereafter isolating the prod.; (ii) a developer compsn. contg. the above toner compsn. and carrier particles; and (iii) a method of imaging comprising forming an electrostatic latent image, developing it with the developer of (ii) and transferring the image to a suitable substrate.
