Zusammenfassung:	Lubricant oil compositions useful for reducing friction in an internal combustion engine comprise a lubricating oil basestock and an alkoxylated amine salt of an acid, said salt having formula (I), wherein Z is derived from either a hydrocarbylsalicylic acid, trithiocyanuric acid, a hydrocarbylsulfonic acid, a dihydrocarbyldithiophosphoric acid or a dihydrocarbyldithiobenzoic acid and wherein R is a hydrocarbyl group having from 2 to 22 carbon atoms, x and y are each independently integers of from 1 to 15 with the proviso that the sum of x + y is from 2 to 20 and n is from 1 to 3.
