Zusammenfassung:Film-forming, storage-stable, temp.-resistant, exhaust gas-deficient binding and coating agents are made of aq. sols. of colloidal silicic acid. The novelty is that they additionally contain amine salts of acidic metal phosphates or a mixt. of amine salts of metal phosphates and boric acid. Prodn. of the agents is also claimed. Pref. the silicic acid contains particles having specific surface area (according to a BET method) of 50-500 (pref. 100-300) m /g. Ammonium, hydrazine, prim., sec. or tert. water-sol. amine, or aliphatic alkanolamine salts are used as the amine salts. Phosphates of gp. IIa and IIIa and IIb are used as the metal phosphates. The solids content of the binding and coating agents is 20-70 (pref. 30-70)wt.%. 25-85 (pref. 45-80) wt.% aq. solns. of amine salts of acidic metal phosphates or mixts. of amine salts of acid metal phosphates and boric acid are used. The aq. silicic acid sols. have a solids content of 10-55 (pref. 20-45) wt.%.
