The S/N characteristics are improved by reducing the influence of the colored noises of a comparatively narrow band which are mixed in the process of transmission. Spread spectrum demodulation is performed by receiving the signal subjected to spread spectrum modulation by multiplying the data to be transmitted by a given series of spread codes, and by multiplying the received signal by a series of attenuation spread codes prepared by appropriately attenuating or amplifying each chip of the series of the spread codes used for the modulation. |
