Zusammenfassung:Bulk resin compsn. having 60[deg] deg. gloss > 90%, is obtd. by reacting an organic, continuous phase comprising vinyl aromatic monomer, unsatd. nitrile monomer and a rubbery diene polymer dissolved in the monomers, and comprises: (a) a rubber-free copolymer: and (b) a graft copolymer comprising a diene rubber substrate and a vinyl aromatic/unsatd. nitrile polymer grafted to the substrate. The rubber substrate has a number average particle size dia. not > 0.3mu , has both interior and exterior surfaces, and has a cell morphology defined as a rubber membrane network of spherical surface with occluded vinyl aromatic/unsatd. nitrile copolymer inside the rubber substrate, the grafted vinyl aromatic/unsatd. nitrile polymers being grafted on both the interior and exterior surfaces of the rubber substrate.
