Zusammenfassung: | The reflectivities of the inside and outside rearview mirrors (2,1) of a car are made different to improve the driver's unbalanced rearview sight. For this, for instance, a liquid-phase ECD (electrochromic device) is used for the inside rearview mirror (2), and a solid-state ECD for the outside rearview mirror (1) so that appropriate different reflectivities of the two mirrors can be obtained even if they are driven under the same operation conditions. In case of use of the same-type ECD for both the inside and outside rearview mirrors, the driving voltage for the outside rearview mirror (1) is made lower than that for inside rearview mirror (2) to make the latter's reflectivity smaller than the former's. For this purpose, transforming circuits (81,80) and terminal voltage sensing and controlling circuits (21,20) are provided. |
