Zusammenfassung: | A wrist-watch (11) which is completely troublefree for the user is produced by combining a radio clock (26, 27) with, for example, a long wave antenna (35) which is integrated into the bracelet (strap) (36) and serves to receive the absolute time information sent in code form, in combination with an electrophysical or electrochemical memory (store) (16) which is recharged from at least one solar cell (38). Since this wrist-watch (11) runs eternally and with regard to its pointer position is compared cyclically, for possible automatic display corrections, with the absolute time information received via radio, this wrist-watch (11) can be fitted per se with a hermetically encapsulated, completely closed housing (12). However, in order to be able to subject the element most susceptible to malfunction, specifically the memory (16), to a performance check, the housing (12) is provided after all with a through opening, for example in the form of a hermetically resealable threaded bore (54) through which at least one contact point (59) can be accessed by a test prod (probe) in the course of the guidance of the electrical conductor to the memory (16), in order to be able to observe how the stored charge rises as a function of strongly heightened radiation of the solar cell (38). Again, direct rapid electrical charging of the memory can be performed via this access from a charger which is adjusted with regard to the voltage limitation. Finally, overpressure can be pumped into the housing interior (17) through the opening released, in order that the watch glass (50) pressed radially into the housing wall (21) can be pressed out axially and then the sandwich structure in the housing interior can be dismounted for the purpose of servicing. |
