Weld bead cutter mechanism

In an equipment for continuously cylindrically molding metal sheet material and welded its seam so as to manufacture an electric-seamed steel pipe (A), a weld bead cutter unit for continuously planing weld bead projecting from the seam weld zone is so constructed that a distance between a planing blade (1) for planing the weld bead and a rotary bead chopper (3) for chopping the planed weld bead into small pieces is reduced in length, at the planing blade (1) is fixedly provided a guide shoe (9) for upwardly forwardly guiding the planed weld bead, and outside the outlet of the guide shoe (9) is provided a stationary bead guide for guiding the weld bead toward the rotary bead chopper. Therefore, since the weld bead is planed off from the steel pipe (A) by the planing blade, upwardly forwardly guided by the guide shoe (9) fixedly provided at a planing blade holder, and automatically guided between the rotary bead chopper (3) and the stationary blade (1) through the bead guide (9), an operator need not manually guide and operate the weld bead, thereby there is no danger of causing labor accident.
