Zusammenfassung:	An amplitude regulation circuit (REG) is presented which regulates towards a reference amplitude (VR) an amplitude of a pulse waveform which is generated across a load impedance (L) by a so-called H-bridge, at least one of whose switches has a variable impedance. The amplitude regulation circuit (REG) includes a measuring means (C1) measuring said amplitude during first parts of said pulse waveform and a regulating means (OA, C2, CS1, S2, S3, Q5, CS2, S4, S5, Q6) which is controlled by said measuring means (C1) during second parts of said pulse waveform and which regulates said variable impedance, thereby regulating said pulse waveform amplitude.
