A proportional valve (112) typically under the control of an electronic controller (116) is controlled to set the pressure drop across the trim valves. Reducing the pressure drop across the trim valves, reduces the noise created by air flowing through the trim valves, thereby reducing audio noise in an aircraft cabin. |
