Method for detecting nucleic acids and relative diagnostic kit

Method for detecting specific sequences of a given nucleic acid consisting of: A. the formation of an amplified product of the extension of a first pair of primer oligonucleotides complementary to the nucleic acid to be detected, at least one of which is labelled with a specific ligand; B. the formation of a hybrid complex between the amplified extension product and a labelled DNA probe; C. the immobilization of the hybrid complex on a solid phase sensitized with a receptor capable of stably fixing the ligand mentioned in point A; D. the detection of the probe-amplified product complex adhering to the solid phase with immunoenzymatic type methods; characterized by the fact that the labelled DNA probe is obtained by means of an amplification procedure with a second pair of primer oligonucleotides inside the oligonucleotides of the first pair on the sequence of the extension product.
