Zusammenfassung:	Impact mill having a housing (1) in which a centrifugal rotor (3) which can be rotated about an axis (8) of rotation and can be driven and an impact body (7) which surrounds this centrifugal rotor are arranged. The impact body (7) is assigned at least one sensor (11, 111, 211, 311, 411) which functions during the operation of the mill and is provided for the detection at least of the operativeness, preferably also to detect the degree of wear, of the impact body (7). The sensor (11) senses the impact body (7) through an opening (12) in its annular or cylindrical mount (13).
