Zusammenfassung:	Process for manufacturing a drilling base from a sheet-shaped core produced by compressing wood fibres glued, if appropriate, with synthetic resins, the core being coated on both sides with base materials containing thermosetting synthetic resins, characterised in that a wood fibreboard is used as the sheet-shaped core, which is produced by the dry process and on both sides of which the fibrous base material impregnated with the thermosetting synthetic resin is applied by hot pressing, in which process the thermosetting synthetic resin cures.
