Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a device for adjusting the final control element for the displacement volume of a hydrostatic machine, comprising a shaft, which is linked to the final control element and which is rotatably mounted about an axis of rotation, a restoring arrangement extending transversely to the shaft and being in engagement therewith, which restoring arrangement, when the shaft is in the zero position, occupies a corresponding zero position and can be moved therefrom by rotating the shaft out of its zero position against a restoring force. In order to reduce construction cost and effort and to ensure repeatedly accurate setting of the hydrostatic machine to the zero-displacement volume, the shaft (1, 12) has a bearing surface (30) which contains the axis of rotation (17) of the shaft or is parallel thereto, and the restoring arrangement has a single restoring element (13), which is loaded by a force in the direction of the zero position and which, in its zero position, bears with at least one contact region (37, 38) each on the bearing surface (30) on both sides of a plane (E) intersecting said bearing surface perpendicularly and containing the axis of rotation (17) of the shaft, and which holds the shaft (1, 12) in its zero position, one of the two contact regions (37 or 38, respectively) moving away from the bearing surface (30) upon rotation of the shaft (1, 12) out of its zero position.
