Inhibited acryloxysilanes and methacryloxysilanes

Compositions containing an acryloxysilane or a methacryloxysilane and an N,N-dialkylaminomethylene phenol in an amount at least sufficent to inhibit polymerization of the silane during its formation, purification and storage. Methods for producing such compositions are also provided.
