Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides a correction fluid comprising a mixture of water and a water miscible organic solvent and an inorganic fluoride in a concentration from 0.5% by weight to 4% by weight. The present invention also provides a method for correcting a diazo-based lithographic printing plate having a polyester film support coated with a hydrophillic layer comprising polyvinyl alcohol hardened with a tetraalkyl orthosilicate using said correction fluid.
