Zusammenfassung:	Vertical-slat blinds serve in particular as protection against the sun and being seen in windows or the like. In this connection, the slats are held by slat holders which are interlinked via spacers. Known spacers have a given length, by which the spacings of the individual slats from one another are defined. The length of the spacers and of the slat holders which are connected to these to form chains does not in general correspond to the respective width of the opening to be covered, for which reason uniform overlapping of the slats over the entire opening width is not possible and extra costs for additionally required slats arise. According to the invention, it is envisaged that a number of the spacers (10) are interlinked and the interlinked spacers (10) are provided with a stop (15) which has an individual, continuously fixable spacing to the connecting element (13). It is as a result possible accurately to adapt the length of the spacers (10) to the structural conditions, to make possible a constantly uniform overlapping over the entire window width and to keep material and mounting costs low.
