Zusammenfassung: | The anti-friction coating according to the invention is concerned with the protection of the surfaces of the male 7 or female 2 components of a means 1 for connecting metal tubes by means of threads (11, 6) which come into contact against one another at the moment of screwing.
This coating consists of a thin layer (14) of lead oxide produced by the oxidation of a lead layer, itself formed on an underlying layer (13) of a metal, such as copper, previously deposited directly or indirectly on the surface (4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 6) to be protected from friction. The invention also relates to the process for manufacturing this coating and the coated connection means obtained. |
