Zusammenfassung:	The object of the invention is an acetylene-containing multi-component fuel gas mixture which can be safely handled as a liquefied gas and has properties as similar to those of acetylene as possible. According to the invention, this is a mixture which, at least when stored, contains in the liquid phase 22 to 32 mol% of acetylene, 1 to 4 mol% of a C3 hydrocarbon, 10 to 20 mol% of ethane and ethylene as the remainder, that is to say about 67 to 44 mol% of ethylene.
