| Zusammenfassung: | The adsorber (1) of elongate, typically vertical, shape, is filled with adsorbent between the perforated panels (6) and (7), with a fraction (20) of small particle size (0.4-1.2 mm) and, typically, a fraction (21) of large particle size (1.7-2 mm). The gas travels horizontally between the two panels (6) and (7) forming feed or discharge windows. This arrangement makes it possible to reduce the cycle period to less than 60 seconds and to ensure the same performance with a smaller investment.
