Zusammenfassung: | A coating composition for the interior of a cathode ray tube has, in order to increase the electric resistivity of the internal coating, synthetic zeolite powder in the form of sodium aluminosilicate with the primary particle size of 0.5 to 20 mu m is used together with electrically conductive graphite powder. The zeolite powder is described as being heated to a temperature of 150 to 1000 DEG C to remove excess water before incorporation of the coating composition. The internal coating material may have all or part of sodium ions therein substituted by other alkaline or alkali earth metal ions. Coating materials are also disclosed in which the pigments ratio of silicate particles to graphite particles is variable to such an extent that the specific electric resistance of a coating baked at 430 DEG C could be within the range of 0.5 to 34 000 Ohms/cm. |
