Process for the preparation of 2-acylamino-6-halogeno-purine from 2,9-diacylguanine
2-Acylamino-6-halogeno-purine can be prepared by halogenating 2,9-diacylguanine (2-acylamino-6-oxo-9-acylpurine) with phosphorus oxychloride or phosphorus oxybromide in the presence of a base and of a salt, followed by hydrolysis of the reaction product.
