Heat-insulated vessel

A heat-insulated vessel is proposed, which is provided for a hot drink produced in an infused beverage machine with a heat-retaining plate. The heat-insulated vessel (1) has, in addition to a lid, also a bottom (6) and side walls (5), both of which consist of glass. In addition, the heat-insulated vessel (1) is essentially of insulating design over the entire extent of its side walls (5), and the side walls (5) are provided with a shelf which extends over the bottom (6) in such a way that, when the heat-insulated vessel (1) is set down on a smooth surface, an air cushion is formed between that surface and the outside of the bottom (6). According to the invention, the side of the bottom (6) facing the surface is provided with a covering (8) of material which is a good conductor of heat and whose spectral emission capacity in the temperature range of the hot drink is much less than that of glass. The covering (8) is in good thermal contact with the bottom (6).
