Zusammenfassung:	Reinforcing (1) member for a pneumatic radial ply tyre, which member contains a bundle of continuous filaments of polyparaphenylene terephthalamide (2) in a matrix of a cured epoxy compound. The linear density of the non-impregnated bundle of filaments is 300-2000 decitex. The reinforcing member has an apparent bending stiffness of 1-25 PSN and its deformability is 2-10%. The reinforcing members may be used in the radial ply tyre in the, optionally folded over, belt and/or in the carcass.
