Zusammenfassung:	The present invention is directed to a unique group of cytokines produced by the stimulation of mammalian peripheral blood mononuclear cells with interleukin-2. More particularly, the present invention is directed to lymphokine activated killer cell cytotoxin (LCC), and to methods of production thereof, having unique cytotoxic and cytostatic activity against tumor cells. The present invention also contemplates a pharmaceutical composition comprising said cytokine and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier useful in the treatment and prophylaxis of cancer and infectious diseases.
