Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a training projectile comprising a shroud (2) and a base (3) connected to said shroud so as to be capable of driving the projectile in rotation, as well as an internal load (5) serving as ballast. According to the invention, the shroud (2) is produced from a material of low resilience so as to be capable of breaking into fragments under a shock, whilst at the same time being of sufficient rigidity to preserve the intactness of the projectile, and the internal load (5) is produced from a material which is both dense and brittle, so as to be capable of being pulverised under the impact of the shock or just after this: the training projectile (1) is thus disintegratable on impact with a lightweight target or with soft ground, also with the absence of ricochet if the target is not hit. Furthermore, the projectile comprises an expulsion charge (13) adjacent to the internal load (5), so as to limit the self-destruction distance when the target is not hit, this expulsion charge being initiated by a tracer (16) seated in the lower part of the base (3). The invention is used for producing an anti-ricochet and self-destructive training projectile disintegratable on impact for low-trajectory firing ranges.
