Zusammenfassung:A device for winding or rewinding a paper web employs an apparatus (18) for moving the wound winding core from the winding station (A) to a position (B) in such a way that then the course of the paper web, which is still arriving, is such that the newly supplied winding core sinks into the paper web, and, after a corresponding cutting operation, the winding-on operation onto the empty winding core can be carried out by this means in a particularly simple manner.
