Pasteurised purified von Willebrand factor concentrate, and method for its preparation

A method for the preparation of a concentrate of von Willebrand factor is described, in which a solution of a complex of this factor and factor VIII:C is, where appropriate, pasteurised and treated with an anion exchanger, the von Willebrand factor not being bound.
